Fears instilled early that they will be just ordinary or left on the shelf
And as they grow they feel a longing inside to escape what they’ve found true to be
Skin it gets thicker and heartbeats get quicker they know just what will set them free
They should be actors
In a company
Someone else entirely
Don’t have to be me
And some they’re born with a feeling in their bones have to laugh, have to dance, have to sing
And through come what may they’ll finally find they’re way to the stage and all that it can bring
Like ways to break free from their reality, find a voice, find a place, make a change
Anything they desire can come to be if they step outside their comfort range
They will be actors
In a company
They’ll find kindred spirits
